Dates Confirmed for 2025 Sale Season 
​We are pleased to be able to now confirm the sale dates for the 2025 season. After some challenges with dates this year, we would like to thank Loganair for their support and flexibility in accommodating flight changes to permit sales to go ahead on planned dates.

Online Sale Booking 2025

Online booking is opening very soon for all 2025 sales. Booking will typically close one week before the sale to allow time to collate the brochure and arrange livestock transport. For sales with high demand, booking may close earlier than advertised if mart capacity is reached.

The Lewis & Harris Auction Mart operates sheep and cattle sales from their premises on the outskirts of Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.

We work with our partners at Dingwall and Highland Marts LTD to provide local sales for the crofters and stock producers of Lewis and Harris. We typically hold five sales a year for various classes of sheep and cattle.
Lewis & Harris Auction Mart is a trading subsidiary of of the Long Island Rural Trust. The organisation is run by a team of voluntary directors and other contributors and relies on the support of local crofters to maintain and operate the facility. All local staff working on sale days are volunteers.

​Our website provides information about this season's sales, including catalogues and sale reports. Online booking is also available for all sales. Booking for all sales close one week beforehand to allow for catalogues to be completed and appropriate stock transport arranged.
