The sale on Tuesday 3rd October in Stornoway saw the sale of 157 cattle of all classes. This includes 127 weaned and store calves, 14 Breeding Cattle and 16 OTM Cattle.

Weaned Bullocks (69) averaged 233.1p per kg and sold to 313.0p per kg for a 265kg British Blue cross from Atlantic View, Harris and sold to £1,080 for a 453kg Limousin cross from 25 Lower Barvas, Stornoway.
Store Bullocks (10) sold to 263.0p per kg and £1,380 for a 525kg Limousin cross from 25 Lower Barvas, Stornoway.
Weaned Heifers (40) averaged 215.0p per kg and sold to 264.0p per kg for a 265kg Limousin cross from 41B Lower Barvas, Stornoway and £800 gross for a 332kg Limousin cross from 25 Lower Barvas, Stornoway.
Store Heifers (8) sold to 264p per kg and £1,160 for a 440kg Limousin cross from 25 Lower Barvas, Stornoway. OTM Cattle (16) sold to £1,340 gross for a Charolais cross from 34 Park End, Stornoway.
