The final sale of the 2024 season was held on Tuesday 8th October and it saw a strong showing of good quality sheep of all classes. The sale saw high demand and good prices for the majority of stock going through the ring. The sale was notable for the quality of the breeding stock on sale, especially gimmers and it was pleasing to see a strong local market for purchase of this stock. A total of 2012 sheep of all classes were sold on the day, with a top price £230 for a blackface tup lamb from 41 Upper Carloway.
