The final sale of the year took place on Tuesday 3rd October 2023 and saw a strong showing of all classes of sheep. A total of 2,497 sheep of all classes were sold and prices remained positive. 

Leading Prices:
Lambs (854) averaged £50 and sold to £110 gross for a pair of crosses from 1 Eorodale, Ness
Ewes (1,263) sold to £90 for a texel from 19 Brue, Barvas.
Gimmers (219) sold to £122 gross for a pen of cheviots from 50 Upper Coll, Back
Rams (63) sold to £310 for a cheviot from 15 Vatisker, Back.
Feeding Sheep (98) sold to £70 gross for a pen of cross wedders from 10 Northton, Harris
